2 Day Eksteenfontein (Richtersveld Area)
A tour in the south eastern Richtersveld. On the first day we go on a scenic drive in the mountains and look for wide open space as well as rare plants and bushmen engravings. We will overnight at Eksteenfontein where the local people will prepare dinner.
On the second day we visit the town of Eksteenfontein and go on a trail into some untamed wilderness. We will meet some Nama speaking people before we go back to Springbok.
1 Day Tours to The Goegap Nature Reserve
We offer exclusive tours to the Goegap Nature reserve. As tour operators we have extensive knowledge of this 16 000 hectare reserve. If you are in search of the scarce Hartman's mountain Zebra, we can track them down and will find them.
Come and spend the day with us as we depart from Springbok early and spend the day in the park. We can adjust to your needs be it hiking with a qualified field guide or in search for a rare plant in the mountains we can do it. (mountain biking available as well)
As the roads in the park are mainly for four wheel drive vehicles, this is what we specialize in. We take you in one of our luxury four wheel drive vehicles and spend the day in the park. There are well planned routes to follow and we have a picnic for lunch at a great place (we have special permission). The views that you will see and the experience can only be experienced in person. During the flower season we can take you to all the best spots and you won't just see the ordinary tourist route. Please join us for a remarkable experience.
FLOWER TOURS
We offer three different standard routes for flower tours:
OPTION 1 - Goegap
We depart at 09h00 and visit a few places of historical interest early and on the way to the best flower spots of the moment. We go to Goegap wild flower reserve for lunch and during the afternoon we will go on a 4x4 route in the mountains to the best flower spots. We end the tour with a drive along the commercial flower route and back to Springbok at around 17h00.
OPTION 2 - Kamieskroon
We depart from Springbok at 09h00 and head to Kamieskroon area to find the current hot spots for the flowers, there are various routes and different flowering schedules. We would typically visit the Namaqua National Park and into the mountains. However if there are flowers we will find them.
OPTION 3 - Namaqualand Coast
A full day traveling to Hondeklip Bay, and along the coast. We visit scenic and historic sites along the way and have a wonderful time along the coastline. We might even spot whales. We return to Springbok via a back route that is very scenic.
OPTION 4 - A 3 day package
A Combination of all 3 of the above.
3 Day 2 Night Bushmanland Tour
We depart from Springbok and travel to Aggeneys where we will look for the scarce red Lark and visit the Gamsberg. From here we travel to Pella and visit the Catholic Church and museum before we go to the Pella drift. We then travel further to Klein Pella (biggest date plantation in southern hemisphere) where we will overnight.
The second day we visit a Pachipodium Namaquanum (Halfmens) forest before we head to the "grootmelkboom" for lunch. After lunch we travel to Amam, a farm in the Koa river valley where we will overnight. The last day we do a trail on the dunes with spectacular scenery before we head back to Springbok.
